The Clints x Patta Collaboration is Set to Release Soon
Manchester-based footwear, and now apparel brand, ‘Clints’ is set to release a collaboration with Patta very soon.
Featuring premium suede and heavyweight mesh materials, the key silhouette in the collection titled the ‘TRL Footprints’ have been making waves with limited drops via the Clints INC. store.
Moving into clothing, Clint has expanded the brand with premium lifestyle wear to complement the popular line of sneakers. Featuring 90’s style pieces including a leather jacket, minimal tracksuits as well as the ‘Ruglan Sweatshirt’ presenting a freshening take on simple, yet effective design with classic styles while ensuring superior quality.
Using the moniker ‘Step Correct’, Clints' branding also brings a refreshing feel to the brand utilising a vintage aesthetic from the lookbooks and promotional films feeling like they could have come straight from the ’90s.
This effective branding and nostalgic feel of Clints has not gone unnoticed with the brand growing ever larger over time. Following his collaboration with Novesta in 2019, Junior teased a new collaboration with Amsterdam native, and recent Nike collaborator, Patta.
Uploading images to his personal Instagram account (@junior.clint), Clint gave us the best look we have yet at what is due to be a big release. Simply titled the ‘Steppers’, the upcoming collaboration provides a brand new silhouette using both Clints and Patta’s usual high-quality materials.
The first, and arguably most noticeable feature, is the chunky outsole. Similar to a platform style, the bottom of the sneaker is made of a thick rubber material with minimal ‘Clints’ branding near the heel.
On top, a heavyweight canvas style material is layered with black suede panelling along the mudguard and heel tab. Small blue hits can be found on the upper on the heel with what appears to be a small shoe and additional ‘Clints’ branding under the bottom eyelets with a hint of red and ‘Patta’ branding at the top.
As with the TRL Footprints - the classic ‘Clints’ branding can be found moulded into the outsole with a clean see-through finish. Through the outsole, the brand's respective logo’s can be found when putting the two shoes next to each other with a minimal brown and white colourway.
Further details of the upcoming release include a silver ‘Clints’ hangtag on the laces as well as 'Patta / Clints' branding on the paper within the shoebox proving the subtle details that elevate the final product that both parties are known for.
With images surfacing of a possible further four colourways of the sneaker, further official images of the collaboration are yet to be released. However, the ‘Steppers’ are slated to release soon, with no official release date or time set at the time of writing this.
