Yeezy Day 2021 Date Confirmed
If news of Rap-God Kanye West’s upcoming album, ‘DONDA’, wasn't enough, his long-standing partnership with German sportswear giant adidas has revealed that this year’s YEEZY Day will be on August 2 in US, and August 3 in Europe and China.
Initially teased by a countdown clock on Ye’s Yeezy Supply website, a source within adidas has indicated that the day will see the restock of multiple Yeezy styles, including the return of the coveted Yeezy Boost 700 ‘Wave Runner’ and the debut of the Yeezy 700 V3 ‘Dark Glow’.
Although adidas hasn’t yet confirmed a rollout plan for the day or unveiled which other Yeezy iterations may be releasing. However, in Europe, the release will be going down on adidas’ Confirmed app and website, while US sneakerheads will be able to get in on the action on both the Confirmed app and the adidas website – as well as on Yeezy Supply. Enthusiasts in China will have access via the adidas app, confirmed app, and Tmall shopping platform.
YEEZY Day (formerly known as the Deadstock Release Event before the name change) last took place back in August 2019, where sneakerheads were given access to popular sold out Yeezy styles in 30-minute windows, over a 14-hour period.
The day comes just five days before rivals Nike celebrates its annual SNKRS Day on August 8, where lauded pairs like the Union LA x Air Jordan 4 ‘Off Noir’, Off-White x Air Jordan 4 ‘Sail’, and the Air Jordan 1 High ‘Mocha’ are among a number of pairs re-releasing.
