What went down at the Warner Bros. x Kick Game ‘Air’ screening?
On Wednesday, Kick Game hosted an exclusive early screening of the upcoming Warner Bros. film ‘Air’, a story about Nike’s journey to acquiring the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan. A film that was not only inspiring but held a genuine connection with Kick Game, the occasion felt as if it was meant to be.
Located in Warner House, members of the Kick Game Collective, the brand's community branch, as well as a myriad of VIP guests arrived to view the upcoming film.
As they entered, guests were greeted by a long red carpet, framed with a handpicked selection of sneakers and KG basketballs sitting in front of some instantly recognisable Warner Bros. memorabilia guiding them into the intimate bar area with a live DJ set courtesy of JoceWavy. Kick Game branded biscuits and popcorn were on hand for all guests in conjunction with a range of other refreshments with the host for the night Craig Mitch doing interviews.
When entering the dimly lit theatre, a bold ‘Air’ step and repeat wall was featured providing ample opportunity to show off the exceptional sneakers and outfits worn on the night as guests filtered through the door.
The response to the film was nothing short of excellent. Emotional, inspiring and timeless it told the story of courting Michael Jordan exceptionally. This must-see film officially releases on the 5th of April.
