October 13, 2021 by Josh Ford Supreme Taps Nike for Cross Trainer Low Collaboration Streetwear stalwart Supreme continues its longstanding partnership with the Swoosh giant, delving into its archive once again for another collab. Nike’s Air Trainer Low earned its debut in 1988, as a multipurpose sneaker that was as comfortable on the basketball court, as it was in the gym, and the running track. Supreme has a history of reworking archived Nike silhouettes that maybe don’t get as much love as their counterparts, i.e the Humara, Air Max 96, and Zoom Streak, to name a few. Releasing in two iterations with tri-tone colour palettes, the Supreme x Nike Cross Trainer will arrive in ‘White/Pine green/University Gold’ and ‘Black/Gorge Green/University Red’ later this month. Perforated detailing covers the toe box and sidewall panel of the model, along with leather overlays, and Swoosh, while both brands’ logos decorating the heel and insole. Further detailing includes a DURAPLUSH tongue featuring embossed ‘Nike’ branding, and a rubber sole unit underfoot to round out the design. The Supreme x Nike Cross Trainer Low is set to release on October 14. Sign up to the newsletter below to be the first to know when it arrives at Kick Game. Nike Sneaker News Supreme
